These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of chaayen.com (the "Site") and any digital products you purchase from us. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Who We Are

Chaayen is an independent publisher of Thai tea recipes, brewing guides, and product reviews, operated from Bangkok, Thailand. You can reach us at doo.mun9@gmail.com.

Use of the Site

You may read, print, and use our free content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Republish, redistribute, or resell our content, in whole or in substantial part, without written permission.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content, including for the purpose of training machine-learning models, without written permission.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure.
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

Digital Products & Payment

We sell digital downloads, currently the Recipe Vault (US$12) and the Bangkok Thai Tea Trail (US$6). Key points:

• Products are delivered electronically. Access or a download link is provided immediately after payment is confirmed.
• Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees, which are outside our control.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Purchases are for your personal use. You may print copies for your own kitchen, but you may not share, resell, or redistribute the files.

Refunds

Because our products are digital goods delivered instantly, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds once a download has been made available to you. Please read the product description carefully before purchasing, and email us first if you're unsure whether a product is right for you.

This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country, which apply regardless of this policy. If you believe you're entitled to a refund under applicable law, contact us and we'll address it.

If a product fails to download, arrives corrupted, or you were charged more than once, that is not a refund situation — it's a delivery problem, and we will fix it or refund the duplicate charge. Email doo.mun9@gmail.com with the address used at checkout.

The Site contains affiliate links, including through the Amazon Associates and Lazada affiliate programs. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We also display third-party advertising. Advertisements are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of advertisers or of any site you reach through an ad or external link.

Recipes, Nutrition & Health Information

Our recipes and guides are provided for general informational purposes. Nutrition, calorie, and caffeine figures are estimates that vary by brand, portion, and preparation method. Nothing on this Site is medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. If you have a health condition, allergy, or dietary restriction, or are pregnant, consult a qualified professional before making changes to your diet.

You are responsible for safe food handling and for checking ingredient labels for allergens.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — text, photographs, graphics, layout, and the Chaayen name and logo — is owned by Chaayen or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. Recipes may be adapted for your own use, but the written text and photography may not be copied without permission.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that content is complete, current, or error-free, or that the Site will be available without interruption.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chaayen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if anything, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

The Site links to third-party websites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
